Piano
Every note lies open in front of you. That is why most people start here.
Guitar
Four chords carry you through most of the songs you can already sing along to.
Violin
The hardest instrument at the start, and afterwards the one that can do the most.
Drums
The one instrument you can play before you have read a single note.
Flute
Fits in any school bag. Loud enough for the orchestra, quiet enough for a flat.
Trumpet
One note you can hear through the whole house. And every brass band in the valley is short of it.

Trial lesson
30 minutes on the real instrument, with the teacher in the room where you would have your lessons. Free, and afterwards nothing is agreed.

Lessons
Weekly, one to one, always at the same time and with the same person. You sign up for one term.
Who it is for
From five,with no upper limit
- Children from 5
- Early musical education, in groups of six. Singing, clapping, allowed to touch everything. No instrument is picked yet. That settles itself the year after.
- Children from 6
- The usual start on an instrument. Piano, guitar and violin work from six, drums and flute from seven, trumpet mostly from eight, because the permanent teeth are not there before that.
- Teenagers
- Between school and everything else. We put the lesson at a time that holds for a whole year, and we would rather move it once than have someone give up.
- Adults
- No audition, no exam, no upper age. Starting is the only requirement.
- Returning players
- Eight years of lessons, twenty years off. The first lesson works out what is still there. Usually it is more than you think.
