About this model
A generic toy puppet theatre, like a wooden toy booth, not a copy of any real theatre, product or character, with no lettering and no logo. The theatre itself is the model: a boxy navy booth with a gold hem at the bottom and a gold ledge at the top; on the ledge stands a thick gold frame with a round crest, a star and two pinnacles, with a half column on each side post. Behind the frame is a real stage, 19 cm deep: a red scalloped valance at the top, two red curtains in folds gathered to the sides, two simple puppets standing on the stage floor, navy side walls, and at the back a navy backdrop with two big windows that glow at night. Inside the booth sits the case with up to four laptop boards, hidden: no board can be seen from outside. The navy stage box behind the backdrop is the lid: lift it off to reach the boards. The air comes in under the booth and leaves through the backdrop windows and out of the stage.
Worth knowing
About 10.6 kg of filament with two computers and 12.3 kg with four (roughly 333 to 391 hours on a fast printer), in four colours: navy blue for the booth, the spacers, the stage side walls and the stage box; gold for the hem, the ledge, the frame, the star, the columns and one puppet; red for the valance and the curtains; cream for the stage floor, the other puppet, the case walls (hidden inside), the roof plate, the inner wall, the window linings and the floor ring. The booth skin is thin (0.6 mm) to stay under the weight limit: handle the booth pieces with care until they are glued. The frame stands on the booth's top edge and is held by glue: never lift the theatre by the frame.

Budget black PETG.
Drives: every board keeps the drive its laptop came with (system only), so there is nothing to buy. A board bought without one needs a 256 GB M.2 2280 drive (approx. €56). Optional, not in the total: one shared disk of 1 TB or more for the render manager's shared folder, on one laptop board, in its own M.2 slot, or in a USB case (approx. €19) on the base floor. Reuse an old one, or buy a 1 TB M.2 2280 drive for approx. €136–146. Drive prices are approximate (October 2026): check before buying.
No printer yet?
To print it at this size: 12.3 kg of PETG. Add 10% for waste and test pieces and that is 14 spools of 1 kg, approx. €196–266 with the PETG below (the shopping list above already includes filament). Print time, estimated: about 622 h with the standard 0.4 mm nozzle (Ender-3 V3 SE class), 391 h with a 0.6 mm nozzle.
