About this model
Each laptop blade stands across the temple, between two columns, one on each long side. From the side you see columns and the gaps between them, and the computers hide behind the columns. You can look straight through the temple between the columns, and that is also where the air goes. The temple gets longer with every computer, 125 mm each, from one to eight, and it is always 0.79 m tall. With four it stands on a stepped base of 58 by 83 cm. One 260 W supply runs all eight; the supply, the network switch and the shared disk lie inside the steps. To swap a blade you lift the roof section above it and pull the blade straight up by its tab.
Worth knowing
With eight computers the temple is 1.34 m long, so measure the shelf first. It is also a lot of printing: about 13.7 kg of filament with four computers and 22.4 kg with eight, most of it in the columns and the steps. The columns carry the roof; the blades only stand in their shoes.

Budget black PETG.
Drives: every board keeps the drive its laptop came with (system only), so there is nothing to buy. A board bought without one needs a 256 GB M.2 2280 drive (approx. €56). Optional, not in the total: one shared disk of 1 TB or more for the render manager's shared folder, on one laptop board, in its own M.2 slot, or in a USB case (approx. €19) on the base floor. Reuse an old one, or buy a 1 TB M.2 2280 drive for approx. €136–146. Drive prices are approximate (October 2026): check before buying.
No printer yet?
To print it at this size: 13.7 kg of PETG. Add 10% for waste and test pieces and that is 16 spools of 1 kg, approx. €224–304 with the PETG below (the shopping list above already includes filament). Print time, estimated: about 717 h with the standard 0.4 mm nozzle (Ender-3 V3 SE class), 476 h with a 0.6 mm nozzle.
