About this model
A generic toy galleon of the pirate age, not a copy of any ship or product, with no flag symbol and no lettering. The ship itself is the model: a long dark-wood hull that leans in towards the top, a tall stern castle, a low waist and a raised forecastle at the bow with a bowsprit and a beak. A cream band with dark gun ports runs along both sides. Three masts carry square cream sails, bellied forward, with fighting tops and a pennant. The computers stand inside the tall stern; the upper storey of the stern castle - the cabin with its windows, the poop deck, the lantern and the mizzen mast - lifts off as one piece and is the service hatch. At night its 19 windows and the stern lantern glow warm. 1.32 x 0.63 m including the bowsprit, 100 cm to the top of the main mast.
Worth knowing
About 10.5 kg of filament with two computers and 12.3 kg with four (roughly 340 to 390 hours on a fast printer), in two colours: dark wood brown for the hull, the decks, the cabin, the masts, yards and everything hidden inside, and cream for the sails, the gun port band, the doors, the inner lamp wall and the lantern. The hull and cabin skins are thin (0.8 mm) and flexible until they are glued; the spacers and the lap tongues hold them. The ship is long: it needs a shelf or table 1.35 m wide. Nothing has been printed yet: how it looks and holds up in plastic has only been worked out on paper, not seen on a real print. It is a static desk model.

Budget black PETG.
Drives: every board keeps the drive its laptop came with (system only), so there is nothing to buy. A board bought without one needs a 256 GB M.2 2280 drive (approx. €56). Optional, not in the total: one shared disk of 1 TB or more for the render manager's shared folder, on one laptop board, in its own M.2 slot, or in a USB case (approx. €19) on the base floor. Reuse an old one, or buy a 1 TB M.2 2280 drive for approx. €136–146. Drive prices are approximate (October 2026): check before buying.
