About this model
A generic chunky toy cat, like a plush or wooden toy cat, not a copy of any real toy or character. The cat itself is the model: a round charcoal body, fullest low down, with two front legs on white paws and a long tail lying on the floor round its side, and a charcoal head that runs straight into the body, with two big pointed ears, big eyes with slit pupils, and a white muzzle with a small nose and white whiskers. Inside the body sits the case with up to four laptop boards, hidden: no board can be seen from outside. The head is the lid: lift it off to reach the boards. The air comes in under the body and leaves through the eyes.
Worth knowing
About 10.5 kg of filament with two computers and 12.3 kg with four (roughly 340 to 398 hours on a fast printer), in two colours: charcoal for the body, the head, the ears, the legs, the tail, the nose, the eye rims, the head flange and the spacers, and white for the case walls (hidden inside), the paws, the muzzle, the whiskers, the liner and the neck panels. Nothing has been printed yet: how it looks and holds up in plastic has only been worked out on paper, not seen on a real print. It is a static desk model.

Budget black PETG.
Drives: every board keeps the drive its laptop came with (system only), so there is nothing to buy. A board bought without one needs a 256 GB M.2 2280 drive (approx. €56). Optional, not in the total: one shared disk of 1 TB or more for the render manager's shared folder, on one laptop board, in its own M.2 slot, or in a USB case (approx. €19) on the base floor. Reuse an old one, or buy a 1 TB M.2 2280 drive for approx. €136–146. Drive prices are approximate (October 2026): check before buying.
