About this model

A generic chunky toy bunny, like a plush or wooden toy rabbit, not a copy of any real toy or character. The bunny itself is the model: a round, pear-shaped brown body, fullest low down, with a big rounded haunch on each side that runs forward into a hind foot on the floor, two cream front paws, a cream belly and a cream pom-pom tail at the back. The round head is the lid: two tall hollow ears stand on it, two big round brown eye sockets with dark pupils look out, and a cream muzzle with two cheeks carries a small brown nose. The computers sit inside the body, out of sight; the warm air leaves through the eyes.

Worth knowing

About 10.4 kg of filament with two computers and 12.1 kg with four (roughly 332 to 390 hours on a fast printer), in two colours: brown for the body, the haunches, the head, the ears, the eye sockets, the nose, the head flange, the spacers and the pupils, and cream for the case walls (hidden inside), the roof plate, the belly, the muzzle, the inner ears, the neck panels, the paws, the tail and the inner wall in the head. The body and the head are 0.8 mm skins in many pieces that overlap on short tongues; they carry nothing but themselves, so never lift the bunny by the body, the haunches, the ears or the eyes - take the lid off and lift the case by its top rim. How well the 0.8 mm panels keep their shape, and how brightly the inner ears glow, has only been worked out on paper, not seen on a real print. The lid (plate, head, eyes, muzzle, nose and ears glued into one) is not glued down because it is the way in; lift it straight up with both hands round the head, not by the ears. It is a static desk model.

Prices with VAT as shown in October 2026. Shipping, glue and the boards are not included. Also not counted, if you do not own them: a multimeter (about €8.56) and a power strip (about €15.12).

Budget black PETG.

Drives: every board keeps the drive its laptop came with (system only), so there is nothing to buy. A board bought without one needs a 256 GB M.2 2280 drive (approx. €56). Optional, not in the total: one shared disk of 1 TB or more for the render manager's shared folder, on one laptop board, in its own M.2 slot, or in a USB case (approx. €19) on the base floor. Reuse an old one, or buy a 1 TB M.2 2280 drive for approx. €136–146. Drive prices are approximate (October 2026): check before buying.

To print it at this size: 12.1 kg of PETG. Add 10% for waste and test pieces and that is 14 spools of 1 kg, approx. €196–266 with the PETG below (the shopping list above already includes filament). Print time, estimated: about 623 h with the standard 0.4 mm nozzle (Ender-3 V3 SE class), 390 h with a 0.6 mm nozzle.

Print times are slicer estimates (OrcaSlicer) and may vary by ±15 %.
