About this model
A barn of no particular farm: board walls, a white X-braced door on each gable end, a gambrel roof whose lower slope comes down as a deep eave on the long sides, a hay-loft door with a hay beam in each gable and a cupola on the ridge. Up to four laptop blades stand in a row inside. The walls are solid, so from outside you see boards, never a computer board. Air comes in through slatted vents low in the plinth and leaves through the hay-loft doors and the cupola, which glow at night. You pick 2, 3 or 4 computers and the model stays the same size: 0.57 x 0.64 m, under 1 m tall.
Worth knowing
About 11.0 kg of filament with two computers and 12.7 kg with four (roughly 370 to 425 hours on a fast printer). It needs three filament colours: terracotta walls, a dark roof and white trim. The roof is made of thin flat panels, only 1.8 mm thick, glued on two gables and two trusses: let each row dry before the next, and handle the roof gently. The roof is not glued down because it is the way in; lift it with both hands.

Budget black PETG.
Drives: every board keeps the drive its laptop came with (system only), so there is nothing to buy. A board bought without one needs a 256 GB M.2 2280 drive (approx. €56). Optional, not in the total: one shared disk of 1 TB or more for the render manager's shared folder, on one laptop board, in its own M.2 slot, or in a USB case (approx. €19) on the base floor. Reuse an old one, or buy a 1 TB M.2 2280 drive for approx. €136–146. Drive prices are approximate (October 2026): check before buying.
No printer yet?
To print it at this size: 12.7 kg of PETG. Add 10% for waste and test pieces and that is 14 spools of 1 kg, approx. €196–266 with the PETG below (the shopping list above already includes filament). Print time, estimated: about 684 h with the standard 0.4 mm nozzle (Ender-3 V3 SE class), 425 h with a 0.6 mm nozzle.
