About this model
A Roman-style triumphal arch: two solid piers, one big arch you can see straight through, eight columns on pedestals, a cornice that steps forward over each column and a tall attic with a blank inscription panel. Each pier holds up to two laptop blades back to back. The walls in front of the boards are solid, so you don't see the computers from any side. You pick 1 to 4 computers and the arch stays the same: 0.91 m tall, 0.84 m wide, 0.54 m deep. Air comes in through the lattice floor under the arch, runs through the hollow base, rises through the floor of each pier past the board and leaves through the lattice windows above the piers and the lids on top. The ceiling of the arch is a coffered vault, and at night two LED strips on the ledges under it light it up. One 260 W supply runs everything; the supply, the network switch and the shared disk lie inside the base, under the floor of the arch. To swap a blade you lift the lid above its pier and pull the blade straight up by its tab.
Worth knowing
The solid walls that hide the boards cost filament: about 15.9 kg with two computers and 18 kg with four (roughly 630 to 720 hours on a fast printer), more than the compact temple. The columns and the walls carry the top; the blades only stand in their shoes. The lids are held by their lips and weight, not glued, because they are the way in.

Budget black PETG.
Drives: every board keeps the drive its laptop came with (system only), so there is nothing to buy. A board bought without one needs a 256 GB M.2 2280 drive (approx. €56). Optional, not in the total: one shared disk of 1 TB or more for the render manager's shared folder, on one laptop board, in its own M.2 slot, or in a USB case (approx. €19) on the base floor. Reuse an old one, or buy a 1 TB M.2 2280 drive for approx. €136–146. Drive prices are approximate (October 2026): check before buying.

To print it at this size: 18.0 kg of PETG. Add 10% for waste and test pieces and that is 20 spools of 1 kg, approx. €280–380 with the PETG below (the shopping list above already includes filament). Print time, estimated: about 942 h with the standard 0.4 mm nozzle (Ender-3 V3 SE class), 588 h with a 0.6 mm nozzle.
