What you print
Every 1U or 2U front of a 10-inch rack becomes one floor of a building: Art Deco New York, Gothic London, Paris or Tokyo neon. A spire or a pagoda roof goes on top. Mix the styles and add a floor whenever you add a server. Behind a lit floor sits a light box with one cell per room, so each window glows evenly, and black plugs for the rooms you want dark.
- Art Deco, Gothic, Paris and Tokyo fronts in 1U and 2U
- A Tokyo 1U front with room for the ports behind it
- A spire crown with a red beacon, and a pagoda crown
- Light kits for the Deco, Gothic and Paris 2U floors, the Tokyo 1U floor and the spire

Worth knowing
- A lit floor needs a blank or shelf U with at least 16 mm free behind the rails: the light box reaches 12.6 mm back, plus the wire.
- A facade leaves 13–26 % of its U open. Fine over blank Us, shelves and gear that breathes at the sides or back. Never put one in front of gear that pulls its air in at the front: use the Tokyo port front there (39 % open, no light box), or leave that U bare.
- The light is a soft evening glow: 1.35 W and about 4.3 lumens for the whole stack. In daylight you won't see it.
- No light kit yet for the pagoda crown, the 1U Deco, Gothic and Paris floors or the 2U Tokyo floor.
- Behind a lit floor the screws need to be 2.2 mm longer; the exact length is not checked yet. The crowns assume your rack's top frame doesn't stick out past the rails.
