The crown of the tower
I like the work where the screen, the API and the database all have to agree.
I’m Lior, a full-stack engineer and technical lead in Tel Aviv. Since 2019 I’ve worked mostly in TypeScript: React and Next.js on the front, Node.js and PostgreSQL behind them, Cloudflare where it fits.
I lead by doing. I write code every week, read most of what the team ships, and try to keep the reasons behind a decision written down where the next person will find them.
How I work
Own the whole slice
A feature isn’t finished at the pull request. I follow it through the data model, the API, the screen and the day it has to be maintained.
Make failure visible
Things break. I’d rather a system say so plainly, with a trace, than smooth it over and let someone find out later.
Boring where it counts
Plain tools for the parts everyone depends on, and room to be inventive only where it pays for itself.
Small steps that ship
Short branches, real reviews, and a way back for every release.
Where I fit
Teams building TypeScript products, internal tools, dashboards and platforms with more than one kind of user. I’m happiest owning a scoped piece from the first sketch to production, or leading a small team that does.
Demo site: Lior Adan is a fictional developer. Design & build: Wild Digital Moments.
